Amid huge expectations and backed by strong promotions, Suriya's 'Maatraan' has hit the screens today.

Directed by K V Anand, who had earlier made 'Ayan' with Suriya, 'Maatraan' produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment has Kajal Agarwal as the heroine. Music is by Harris Jayaraj.

The film's Telugu version 'Brothers' too is seeing the light of the day today. Suriya has played conjoined twins in this movie, which has script by Suba.

"I am eagerly waiting to know the response of the audience. Everyone of us have given our best. The rest is in the hands of the people," says Suriya.
