Mammootty fans are eagerly waiting for their superstar`s next release Kasaba, an action packed thriller. The film marks the directorial debut of Nidhin Renji Panicker, son of multitalented face of Mollywood Renji Panicker. The first look poster of the movie itself created waves in the industry.

Along with the director and fans there is another man eagerly waiting for the release of Kasaba, Mansoor Muthutty; editor of the movie.

Late writer/director Lohithadas portrays heroes who arouse from rags to riches in his movies. Here we are going to tell you a real life story, stranger than fiction, inspiring and motivating. Mansoor, from Tirur, lost his father when he was in his tenth standard. He discontinued his studies and found a job in a bakery nearby for supporting his family of two younger brothers and mother. Seeing his hard work and dedication in the job he got an offer from a textile shop in the town as a salesperson.

But the expenses were skyrocketing. To meet the ends he left the job in the textile shop and planted his life in to a relative`s auto as a driver. Along with that he did the delivery for a nearby furniture shop as well.

Football and cinema; two passions Mansoor have. During all the difficulties he always found relief in them. He was not merely watching movies, instead he was thoroughly reviewing them scene by scene and shared his views among friends. Among his friends he is famous for his film critic skills.

Samjith, his neighbour and class mate, always found it`s interesting to discuss about movies with Mansoor. Later Samjith studied film editing and started working as an assistant of Editor Don Max.

Later when they meet Mansoor criticised Samjith about the mistakes he made in his films and shared his ideas and explained his what he would do if he was in Samjith`s place.

Hearing all his ideas Samjith decided to help his friend and waited for a chance. Samjith became an independent editor with the movie Red Chillies, directed by Shaji Kailas in 2008. Throughout the work Samjith borrowed ideas from Manoosr and they together completed the movie. For the first time, on the screen it showed Assistant Editor Mansoor Muthutty.

Impressed by his work Shaji Kailas again gave him a chance as a spot editor in his Tamil movie En Vazhi Thani Vazhi, where he had met Nidhin Renji Pancker, the beginning of a new friendship. Seeing his skills and humble nature Nidhin offered him the role of editor in his first movie Kasaba.

Now along with his friends in Tirur Mansoor is eagerly waiting for July 7, the release date of Kasaba to see his name on the screen.
