Nadigar Sangam's new team of office-bearers has been involving themselves phenomenally in rain relief efforts ever since the deluge struck Chennai. A Whatsapp group was formed to coordinate efforts of support from various actors and it was aptly named as Rescue Chennai.
They started collecting and coordinating the rain relief materials from various places in a prominent school and the materials are taken to the place of need after proper verification by a member and distributed to the genuine people of need.
