Remember Ganesh Venkatraman who played a young Punjabi economist in 'Abhiyum Naanum', and a tough cop in Kamal Haasan's 'Unnaipol Oruvan'.

He is set to play a police officer once again, this time in 'Ivan Veramadhiri', a film directed by Saravanan of 'Engeyum Eppodhum' fame with Vikram Prabhu in the lead.

"My character's name is Aravindan IPS and it is a hard-hitting one," says Ganesh, adding: "I would like to thank director Saravanan and producer Lingusamy for this role."

The actor says he has joined the shoot already and is having a nice time with the cast and crew of 'Ivan Veramadhiri'. Recently, Sundar C roped in Ganesh for 'Theeya Vela Seyyanum Kumaru', it may be recalled.
