We saw him as a young Singh in 'Abhiyum Naanum' who captures Abhi's heart and as the butt-kicking cop in Kamal Haasan's 'Unnaipol Oruvan.' The latest buzz we hear is that handsome hunk, Ganesh Venkatraman has landed himself a meaty role in Nagarjuna - Anushka's upcoming flick 'Damarukam.'

The film sees Nagarjuna and Anushka playing the leads. Ganesh Venkatraman has also joined the team and is busily filming for this fantasy film which is touted to be on the path taken by 'Magadheera' and 'Arundathi,' both of which were blockbusters at the box office.

In 'Damarukam' the story zooms in on three principal characters played by Nagarjuna, Anushka and Ganesh. The film, insiders reveal, also has 50 minutes of SFX, and a good dose of action sequences. Recently a lot of Tamil heroes have made their foray into Tollywood. Arya was featured in 'Varudu,' then 'Kick' came along with Sham and now Ganesh will be essaying a plump role in 'Damarukam.'

While quizzed about actors' crossover to different languages, Ganesh revealed that "Why not, as an actor it increases my visibility in another industry and if the character and pay package is good one must definitely go ahead. I have already done films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam so it is definitely an added advantage."

Ganesh is hit with the audience in Tamil. We wish the actor continues his success ride in Tollywood too!
