The two biggest Nandamuris of our times are going great as far as their film schedules are concerned. They both are doing big-ticket projects, and they both are lucky in getting a team which is leaving no stone unturned to complete their respective projects on time. If Janata Garage is fast being completed, Gautamiputra Satakarni, belonging to a difficult-to-film genre like historical with very many war sequences, is not far behind.

The schedules of Balakrishna's prestigious 100th film have been planned in such a way that the Vfx part is completed simultaneously along with the shoot. That is the reason why the Morocco and Hyderabad schedules have been about filming war sequences. It's these episodes which will be put through Vfx (by Makuta of Baahubali fame) to a significant extent.

After the first schedule in Morocco, the team shot for a few days at a huge warship set erected near Chilkur Balaji temple in Hyderabad. The next schedule, also at the same location, will be started off from June 20 onwards.

Recently, Shriya Saran has been roped in to play Balayya's pair. Music-directed by DSP, this one has Hema Malini playing Balayya's mother. Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi is in another key role.

Y Rajeev Reddy is producing the film under First Frame Entertainments banner and Bibo Sreenivas is presenting the movie. Director Krish is wielding the megaphone.
