'Rowthiram' will be Jiiva's next film post the whooping business that his 'Ko' did; expectations are running sky high. If the trailers that now appear on television channels give us a whiff of what is in store then we can expect some spiteful action and a bit of breezy romance, apart from some good performance by the lead stars.

The producer RB Choudhary has gone all out to make this film appealing to reaffirm Jiiva's stature as a mass hero in Kollywood. 'Rowthiram' sees Jiiva and Shriya Saran in the lead. According to the producer of the film, this film will shed light on a new Jiiva, whom the audience will get to see and appreciate, and as far as the heroine, Shriya who has so far appeared in glam roles will be seen as a normal homely girl in this film.

Gokul is the director of this romantic action thriller. For a first timer the director has shown a lot of professionalism in this debut project, reveal many close to the production team.

'Rowthiram' also introduces Prakash Nikki as the music director and we must say that the tracks have already climbed up the charts. The cinematography is by Shanmugasundharam who will also be debuting as cinematographer with this film.
