Director Venkat Prabhu's 'Chennai 600028 II' the sequel to his super hit debut film will be hitting the screen within 24 hours from now (December 9, 2016). The film's star cast includes almost all the actors who were part of the first part that released in 2007 and also a good number of new additions.

One of the prominent additions to the sequel will be young actor Abinay Vaddi, the grandson of Gemini Ganesan and Savithri, the stalwarts of the black and white era.

Vaddi made his acting debut playing the titular character in director Gnana Raja Sekaran's 'Ramanujam' (2014), a biography on the lives and times of Mathematical genius Ramanujam.

In his second film, the young actor plays a character that is completely contrast to his first. From the teasers, he is apparently a member of a person living in Theni and represents the team opposing the Sharks team. He also sports a thick mustache and long hair for the film which looks startling against his clean shaven look with shortened hair style throughout the film 'Ramanujam'. Interestingly his character name in the film is Ganeshan which in memory of his grandfather.

We wish Abhinay Vaddi to get a big break in Kollywood career with 'Chennai 600028 II'.
