Gemini Ganesan, Savithri's heir forays into cinema

Gemini Ganesan and Savithri's heir, Abinai, is foraying into Tamil cinema as an actor! Abinai has signed a film, 'Vinai' that features him as protagonist opposite Prathishta. The film will be directed by Balasuthan with cinematography by Rajesh.

The movie will be produced by Abdul Azzez under the banner Uroojj Production and music will be composed by Siddhartha and Yuvaraj.

It may be recalled that Savitri and Gemini Ganesan had wedded in the 1950s and were a hit on-screen pair. They had a daughter and a son.
