Gnanavelraja's gesture to Rajini - Ranjith project

Director Ranjith, who made 'Madras' for Studio Green, was set to make two more films for the K E Gnanavelraja's banner. But the producer, on coming to know that the filmmaker has got an opportunity to work with Superstar Rajinikanth, has decided not to stand in his way.

"We are happy that Ranjith has got an opportunity to direct Rajini sir. He can do our films (one among them is with Suriya) after completing the Superstar project," the leading producer says.

Meanwhile, an official announcement on the Rajini-Ranjith film, to be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, is expected to be made very soon. Unconfirmed sources say the 'thalaivar' play a dhadha in this flick.
