With a view to capture the global market and create a new path for Tamil cinema, several measures are being carried out in the industry. Sarath Kumar's forthcoming film '1977' is touted to be more than a 'Bond flick' and will release in China, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Also, the Vikram and Shriya starrer 'Kanthaswamy' will be dubbed and released in Spanish besides being released with subtitles in other Asian languages.

'1977', directed by Dinesh Kumar has been produced by Sarath Kumar's home banner RSK Pictures. The film has Farzana and Namitha as heroines and Vivek plays the comedian.

Meanwhile, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, who is producing 'Kanthaswamy' exuded confidence that the film will make it big in Europe as it is dubbed in Spanish.

Directed by Susi Ganesan, the Robin Hood - style superhero film is being made with a huge budget and has been shot in exotic locales with extravagant Computer Generated Imagery. Another major highlight about the film is that it features the highly talented Vikram in twelve different avatars.
