The first half of `Gombegala Love' is taxing to the brains while second half is appealing for the substance that the debutant Santosh feeds to the film. With the remakes and borrowed scenes from several films in Kannada - this attempt is laudable.

The lighting effect used for the film is a big botheration to the eyes and taking the film to a touching tale in the second half is the routine practice. When the film opens up with a tight narration in the second half the amazing strength of debutant Santosh comes to light.

The protagonists Arun and Pavani are in love and hate relationship in the beginning when the dream of the two lying on the bed opens up. The tricky director gives an exercise to the minds but what further turns up is routine and unconvincing.

The new team of Santosh has partially successful in holding the attention when the portion of Shruthi comes up on silver screen. In fact the real worth of the film is tucked in this portion.

The two protagonists - Arun and Pavani are shown lying on the floor with mosquito net in a flash back. That is the fate playing very costly in the both the life. As a mother Shruthi gives every need of the two handicap persons.

Fate further ditches the already ditched with the passing away of Shruthi the caretaker of the two. The police come to the help of this isolated two. Nothing works out.

Arun and Pavani have done great job especially in the second half. Polio affected since 23 years in life makes the soft hearts to take out kerchief. They are like dolls on floor loving each other. Shruthi as mother is blemish less. Achyuth Kumar has done a neat job in this film.

There is only one song that is very melodious. The background score is OK. The cinematography is what disturbing to the eyes most of the times.

Watch it for second half.

Score 6/10
