Allari Naresh and Jagapathi Babu make for a quaint combination. One is a beanpole of fun and frolic. The other is all solemn seriousness and smartness.

The two are pitted together in Janardhan Maharishi’s Gopi. Gowri Munjal and Aarti Chabria are female leads.

The film’s shoot is on now and Janardhan Maharishi is directing a host of characters.

Speaking to newsmen on the occasion, the director expressed confidence at the way the film is shaping up.

Gopi has a tagline of (Godameda Pilli).

Janardhan Maharshi said that Jagapathi and Naresh play an interesting combo. Jagapathi is mentor of sorts while Naresh is a vacillating kind of a character. It is all very interesting.

The director disclosed that Sai Kiran, who is playing an interesting role, would be an added attraction.
