Leading Indian Designer Babita Malkani with the promotion of ever-evolving aspects of human expression morphed into an aboriginal sense of direction has once again come up with a never before accretion of carefully chosen quintessential drape styles into a juxtaposition of formulated design cuts and constructed outfits in varied ideas and distinct textures with peculiar fabrics namely lightweight georgette, crepe and linen teamed up with jerseys and a hint of ribbed knits.

A newly wedded bride Soha Ali Khan for the first time after her marriage simply dazzled on the ramp with a glow that so well complimented Babita M`s look. Director Anurag Kashyap, Actors Ragini Khanna soon to be seen with Nawazzudin Siddique in a forthcoming release & Actors Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Simer Motiani & Anushka Ranjan, Actor Karan Tacker, Sidharth Kannan, Fitness Expert Leena Mogre, Dance Guru Sandip Soparrkar - made it a point to support good friend Babita for her latest fashion album brought to life at LFW Summer Resort Season. The show was opened by Miss India Earth Alankrita Sahay.

The native art of Alaska has been around for 20,000 years and the designer drew inspiration from the same & has an amazing art to portray the culture/ cult/tradition of any place and incorporate that very aesthetically in fashion. Voicing her excitement, a visibly proud Babita Malkani said, "This year for Summer Resort edition, I have got a very elegant collection inspired by a beautiful place Alaska. Every time I visit a particular place I completely indulge myself in it and then connect my thoughts and my collection with my designs. Visualizing them with innovative ideas, adding art and colors and forming a design is the first step but to convert these thoughts to a collection is a challenge but once this is done successfully it feels amazing as it`s completely your baby." Adding to Babita`s excitement, Soha Ali Khan says "It`s the first time I walked for Babita M and the first time post my wedding that I got on the ramp. And hence though I have walked several times before, this time is special for many reasons. It was a completely different feel and a sense of elan walking in a Babita M outfit. I am truly eclectic."
