A successful film should be telecast after one year. One of the distributors of the film 'Govindayanamaha' has written letter to the KFCC that he would sit on a hunger strike till death in case the film is not cancelled for telecast within 100 days of the film.

"I am going to commit suicide in front of Dr Rajakumar statue at KFCC entrance" says Jayaram in case the film is telecast in Zee Kannada channel on 30th June.

According to the guidelines a film in case not made its investment has got special permission to telecast after no objection certificate from KFCC. In this case of 'Govindayanamaha' starring Komalkumar, Parul Yadav, Rekha, Madhulika and Ana Georgia has made wonderful progress in the box office. In that case the distributors are entitled to make profits for one full year. Suddenly the film is telecast in a satellite channel the collections would drop says Jayaram.
