Gowtham getting down to Varanam Ayiram

Gowtham Menon is all set to commence his Varanam Ayiram. The movie was slated to go to floors soon after Pachai Kili Muthucharam released.

When asked about the delay in commencing the shooting, Gowtham says, “My father was ailing then. After his demise, I took some time and then completed penning the script for the movie. With everything ready, we are planning to commence shooting this March-end and plan for a release in August.”

Varanam Ayiram features Suriya in the lead role. Acting opposite him are Kuthu Ramya and a newcomer.

Says Gowtham, “Search is on for a fresh face to play the second heroine. This film is a crime-thriller and would have musical score by Harris Jayaraj.”
