Sex comedies are not new to Bollywood. They have been tried and tested a number of times and some of them have also managed to receive a decent response from the audiences. ''Guddu Ki Gun'', another flick of the genre has hit the screens today and let me tell you, calling it pathetic may be an understatement.

The movie starts with Guddu (Kunal Khemu), who is a washing powder salesman and goes from door to door to sell it. Being a flirt that he is, he also sleeps with desperate women during the course. Life is fun, until he sleeps with a girl and because of her grandfather''s curse, Guddu''s penis turns into gold. Now the only way for him to get back to being normal is by stumbling upon a girl who is his true love.

Will Guddu be able to find the girl? Or will be stay with a gold penis forever, forms the rest of the film.

Yes you read it... Above is the story and it''s crappy as hell. It doesn''t make any sense and if you are thinking that possessing a senseless script, the movie will be humorous. Then I am extremely sorry to say that that is again not the case here. ''Guddu Ki Gun'' has a story that sounds fun, but because of some lazy writing by Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand, the movie becomes a torture. Shantanu and Sheershak''s helming is equally bad.

Coming to performances, I had loved Kunal Khemu in ''Go Goa Gone'' and was seriously expecting the same witty Kunal here as well. But to my bad luck, that did not happen. The actor tries very hard to make the movie a watchable affair, but due to a week script and screenplay, even a good actor like him couldn''t do much. Sumeet Vyas is the only reason I could sit for the whole movie to finish. He is hilarious. Rest of the actors are not even worth mentioning. The songs are placed badly in the plot with each one being worse than the other. The editing is so bad, that I couldn’t figure out the difference between two sequences and everything looked messed up.

It is only the climax sequences that bring in a few laughs, rest all is pitiable to the core. Half start just sounds too much for ''Guddu Ki Gun'', but the credit for it goes to Sumeet Vyas.
