Gulumal The Escape
Yet to create a hit in his name, ad wizard V K Prakash is making another try in commercial cinema with the movie `Gulumal-The Escape'. Featuring the young stars Kunchakko Boban and Jayasuriya in the lead, this will be a humorous affair from the one time National award winning director.
Jayasuriya and Kunchakko Boban are Jerry and Ravi Varma in the movie -two young guys who does any thing to earn big bucks. Jerry is a born conman while Ravi Varma is a man of integrity who was accidentally forced to be in this path. They are always into some silly deceitful activities which will give them some money. But after every such tricky fun's, they are into a phase where they need to apply meticulous intelligence to get away unscathed. The movie follows the interesting ways in which they keep hold of their life.
This very first attempt from V K Prakash in comedy is scripted by debutante Rajesh Y.V. The movie will feature another debutante Mithra Kurian as the heroine. Bijukuttan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Manian Pilai Raju, Salim Kumar and Devan are also a part of the cast lines of the movie.
Camera women Fowsiya Fathima is in charge of cinematography of the movie, which is the first movie to be shot entirely in HDV in Malayalam. Mahesh Narayanan is in charge of editing this techno movie. The music department of the movie is handled by Manu Rameshan who has tuned in four songs in the lyrics written by his father and famous lyricist S Rameshan Nair. Produced by Sajitha Prakash in the banner of Trendz Ad Film Makers, the movie will be distributed in theatres by A and M entertainments. Planned to be on theatres by this December, `Gulumal- The Escape' is expected to be a path breaking fresh comedy from V K Prakash.
