One year after the destiny changing 'Roja' , A.R. Rahman ruled the roost as the next big thing in Indian music and he continued to churn out hit after hit irrespective of the films doing the same. In 1993, the music world was woken upto a little child's voice starting the song "Chikku bukku railey kalakuthu paar ava styley" which captivated the audience and continued to do so in songs in 'May Madham', 'Bombay', 'Uzhavan', 'Gentleman' and 'Muthu'.

Today that little boy is a front line music composer and a big name among the younger generation of heroes. G. V. Prakash Kumar has sung for his legendary uncle A.R. Rahman in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal'. It has taken the talented duo twenty two long years to reunite in music.

What is even more special is that Rajiv Menon is directing a new musical film 'Sarvam Thala Mayam' which has music by Rahman and GVP playing the hero that is to begin soon.
