Sohum Shah, who has started shooting for Hansal Mehta's 'Simran' in New York, is super excited to work with the critically acclaimed director.

The latest news from set is that the actor and his director are seen chatting for long hours post pack up...Both Hansal and Sohum are extremely passionate when it comes to stories. One similarity between the two is their love for content oriented stories.

Post pack up, they are seen having long discussions about real and fictional stories they know. Shared Sohum, "Hansal sir is someone who I can sit with and talk about cinema for long hours. It is an absolute pleasure to work with him. The best thing is that both of us share a great passion for stories and it makes working with him really interesting. He is someone who has so much knowledge about films, that you never run out things to discuss with him."

'Simran' based on real life incident, is slated to release in the year 2017.
