Delhi Belly would be finally remade into Tamil, but this one will be Tamilised, that is you are not going to see all the cuss words and mean language. Guess who are all playing the lead roles? Arya of Vaadu-Veedu fame is playing Imran Khan, while it is Hansika Motwani who is the main female lead. Santhanam, the very popular comedian, is reprising Vir Das role. Anjali of Journey fame is playing a key role.
The film would be produced by UTV Motion Pictures. Hansika is currently on a high in Kollywood, and her remuneration is pegged at Rs. 75 lakhs for this remake.
Kannan is directing the rom-com, while SS Thaman is the music director.
Given that it is a Tamil film, is might not only be devoid of all the street language but also the liberal usage of English language in dialogues.
