Sweety as she is fondly called by her friends Anushka made a sensuous entry in Tamil cinema rolling through a sandy beach to the tune Mobilaa` with an obliging Maddy in Sundar C`s Rendu` the first production venture of Khushbu. For those who dismissed her as just another pretty face with a fab body, she went on to star in many superstar vehicles more than holding her own against them.
Today Anushka is one of the two leading ladies who can draw the masses on her own strength as evidenced in Arundathi` a few years back and Rudhramadevi` a few weeks ago. The lovely actress of substance has her Inji Iduppazhagi` in which she once again headlines the cast in a path breaking role releasing on the 27th of November.
