It was a day of ‘Class’ for low quality Kannada films and excess lobbying and politicking for awards and subsidy to Kannada films at Karnataka High Court.

Taking up the case of former KFCC President Basanth Kumar Patil the HC Judge said after Dr Rajakumar films that were followed by Dr Vishnuvardhana films the quality of films and social message in Kannada films have fallen considerably.

Today films are not worth to watch. In Switzerland and Rumania the girls who are not able to feed their hunger are brought to dance. Our younger generation is coming first to watch such films. The films should always protect the interest of the society and culture. The scientific knowledge and getting in to the skin of role should happen from actors. In that way Dr Rajakumar is the only actor we could find said the HC Judge Rama Mohana Reddy on Tuesday when the case of 2010-2011awards declaration issue came up for discussion.

At one stage the HC judge questioned whether the former chief minister is involved in declaration of awards and asked whether he has invested money for awards declared films. The discrepancy happened should be handed over to CBI. Further hearing on the case was posted to August 5.

Off late actors are coming up with no knowledge and ability. One cannot see such actors observed the HC judge.
