HDD to watch ‘Prithvi’

The former Prime Minister of India H.D.Deve Gowda has evinced interest in watching the Kannada film ‘Prithvi’. The film ‘Prithvi’ that attacks the mining lobby in Bellary is also politically connected, the rumor mill is pointing. With former PM H D Deve Gowda seeing the film further fodder is fed to the rumor mills.

The last film former PM HDD had seen was ‘Chandra Chakori’ produced by his son former chief minister H.D.Kumaraswamy. For watching ‘Prithvi’ that is attack on Reddy brothers in Bellary, the arch rivals of Deve Gowda family has surely given political coating to the film. It is learnt that former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is keen on watching the film ‘Prithvi’. On May 1 – Workers day whether Kumaraswamy is joining his father in watching ‘Prithvi’ in a private theatre is kept as tight secret.

Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon play the lead in ‘Prithvi’ that is produced by Soorappa Babu and directed by Jacob Verghese.

The Karnataka Chief Minister Dr BS Yediyurappa is also eking out time to watch ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ the 200th film of Dr Vishnuvaradhan that is super hit running for the 75th day.
