Pandem Kodi, one of the biggest hits in Vishal's career, will have a sequel very soon. Linguswamy, who has directed films like Run, Paiyaa, Vettai, and Anjaan, will wield the megaphone for this film.

The film will have an ensemble cast, and faces familiar in both Telugu and Tamil will be cast.

The news is that Manjima Mohan, who is the heroine of the yet-to-be released Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo, has been roped in as the film's female lead. Manjima is lucky in that she has bagged a film opposite Vishal so early in her career.

The sequel's story will begin from where the first part ended. So, a proper sequel is being planned and not just a thematic sequel.

The shoot will commence sometime in September.
