'Heropanti' has thrown a very pleasant surprise at the box office. Even though the film was peaking at just the right time and it was expected that there would be good footfalls at the box office, what unfolded after a good opening Friday was simply stupendous. After a good weekend, the film stayed very stable right through the weekdays too. All of this meant that the collections stood at a very healthy 36 crore.

Now that's a total that would have made Sajid Nadiadwala and UTV pretty content even if it was for the entire lifetime of the film. However, now the expectations have grown manifold and it won't be a surprise if the film actually manages to cross the 50 crore mark. If that happens, it would be the first ever solo starrer of a debutant to enter into the 50 crore club.

While 'Ishaqzaade' is the biggest so far with its collections in the late 40s, 'Student of the Year' did cross 50 crore, but then it wasn't a solo hero release and had Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra sharing credits. In this regard, Tiger Shroff would comfortably surpass 'Ishaqzaade' and would easily be the biggest gainer when it comes to a newcomer hitting a huge boundary with his arrival itself.

For producer Sajid Nadiadwala, this is a big high indeed as his '2 States' has already crossed the 100 crore mark while 'Highway' fetched good critical acclaim while sailing past the safety mark. The film is a hat-trick success for him and now 'Kick' is anyways expected to be the biggest of them all, while also making it four in a row for him.

As for 'Kochadaiiyaan', it stayed low in the Hindi version though it was a different story to tell in the Tamil version where it collected good numbers right through the week.
