Responding to the petition by the producers of Ram Charan film 'Thoofan' slated to be released tomorrow for a safe and secured release of the film across the state, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh has ordered the DGP to ensure the same in the wake of the huge turmoil brewing in the state.

The movie has a great ire from both the Telangana and Samaikyandhra movements of the state, who have targeted Charan’s father, the Mega star of Tollywood and the central minister for Tourism, Chiranjeevi for his stand on the bifurcation of the state. The activists from both the movements have threatened to stop the release of his family members’ films. Attarintiki Daredi was already postponed succumbing to the threats but Toofan is connected to its Hindi original ‘Zanjeer’ which cannot be rescheduled.

While the High Court’s orders will come in as a relief for the producers on one hand, on the other they would still be anxious to see the opening crowds coming in to watch the film.
