Hitler movie gives India a new age Vande Mataram to India

Patriotic songs have always caught the attention of the nation with their charm and zeal and with time, lots of songs have been redone to match the flavor of the ongoing generation. However the essence of these songs has always remained the same and such songs have the power to entrap the listeners and retain its reverberations for ages to come.

One such song is Vande Mataram, the national song of India. It has been sung by various singers over the years from Lata Mangeshkar to A.R Rehman and has got embedded in our souls. But now the cult song will take an all new form. A bilingual International film, 'Gandhi To Hitler' (named 'Dear Friend Hitler’ in International version) is all set to feature a rock version of the song Vande Matram, considering the craze for rock music amongst the youth of India.

The song has been penned down by Dr. Pallavi Mishra, who also happens to be the CEO of Amrapali Media Vision and the Associate Producer of the film. The song has been sung by Bensen Baby, Aman P and Vasundhara and the music has been scored by Aman & Bensen.

The music of the film 'Gandhi to Hitler' is set in the backdrop of the World War II which created havoc in the lives of people and is also relevant in today's scenario. However "Vande Mataram" is a song translated in Hindi by Dr Pallavi Mishra and is a foot tapping number that makes the youth dance on its beats. This song has all the elements to instill a patriotic fervor in the listeners and has a universal appeal.

Dr. Pallavi Mishra, the lyricist quotes, "In today's times when our National language Hindi is losing its grip among the youngsters, I could not refrain myself from translating the legendary composition in my mother tongue. Moreover to make it a rage among the Gen X, rock music was unconditionally the best choice."

After getting rave reviews at the Cannes film festival 2011, Amrapali Media Vision's first venture into film world, an International film, 'Gandhi To Hitler' is all set to storm the cinemas on 29th July, 2011 all over. The film will be released both in English and Hindi languages. The International version of the film is titled 'Dear Friend Hitler' and the National version is titled 'Gandhi To Hitler'.

The film casts Raghuvir Yadav as Adolf Hitler, Neha Dhupia as Hitler's love interest- Eva Braun, Avijit Dutt as Mahatma Gandhi, Naseer Abdullah as Speers, Aman Verma as Balbeer, Nalin Singh as Goebbles, Lucky Vakharia as Amrita, Nikita Anand as Magda and Bhupesh kumar Pandey as Bose.
