The Karnataka film chamber of commerce in a joint address with Kannada Film Artists Association, Kannada Film Producers Association has declared holiday on 4th June for the participation of entire industry to Celebrity Cricket League.

The opening cricket match is between Sandalwood and Bollywood. The match is at KSCA stadium. Sudeep is the captain of Sandalwood team that is named as ‘Karnataka Bulldozers’ by the sponsor Ashok Kheney. The Bollywood team is lead by Salman Khan.

The KFCC and others sectors in the meeting has decided to make second Sunday as working day for the holiday declared on 4th June.

The Karnataka bulldozer team generated bid amount of Rs.16.10 crores and it is Ashok Kheney who bought the rights for 10 years.

Ambarish, President of Kannada cinema Artists Association addressing the media disclosed that a portion of proceeds earned from CCL will be donated to social work and remaining for the Artists Association building.
