Homi Adajania had denied reports of 'Finding Fanny' Toronto premiere. In a statement received the 'Cocktail' famed director said, "As much as I wish it were true (the film premiering at Toronto), these are just rumours as Finding Fanny's edit has not even been locked yet. We will apply once ready and keep our fingers crossed because the Toronto International Film Festival is a dream platform to showcase any film."

A quirky comedy set in Goa, 'Finding Fanny'' stars Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor and has Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on September 12.
