It’s our ‘Dabangg’ Bhai’s Happy Birthday today! Superstar Salman Khan, who turns 47, seems to have already got his birthday gifts - that is the huge, mind-blowing collection and response that ‘Dabangg 2’ is making now.

The year 2012 has been really lucky for this macho star with two highest-grossing blockbusters in his name - ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and the sequel of ‘Dabangg’. If one takes notice, both the films had a sentimental value added to them as well. The first one teamed him with his ex-love Katrina Kaif and the second one made his dear brother Arbaaz Khan step into director’s shoes.

From his first blockbuster ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ to his latest blockbuster ‘Dabangg 2’, Sallu Miyaan has really come a very long way; getting transformed with each passing year and movie. From a romantic hero to masaledaar action entertainer, Bhai has now created a powerful impression in B-town; much more than during his jawaan (read youth) days.....

Few decades back, the handsome star literally won hearts with Prem (read Love) being the romantic hero in his early stage of filmography. Gradually Sallu miyaan went up the ladder to have bholi bhali girls dreaming about him saying "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam". Then one fine day in 2009 he turned out to be the most ‘Wanted’ hero in B-town; courtesy Prabhu Deva. After that, Salman seems to have said to B-town to be ‘Ready’, dekho aagaya hai box office collections ka ‘Bodyguard’.

And true indeed, because since the release of ‘Wanted’ Salman apparently earned the Midas Touch and whatever he did on screens turned out to be the Bigg Boss of Entertainment. With his new found ‘Dabangg’ (read Fearless) image, Salman has been roaring loud through his blockbuster films and even looking menacing like ‘Tiger’ at his competitors. Now with New Year round the corner, Bhai is waiting to ‘Kick’ start some more zabardast films for his ever-growing fans.
