From the time we first reported about Vijay and Atlee getting back together for Sri Thenandal Films next the project is firming up and the team is getting ready for an official announcement during Diwali.

The latest we hear from sources close to the team of Vijay 61` is that Nayanthara will play the love interest of Vijay in the film. The Ilayathalapathy and the Lady Superstar have acted as the lead pair in Villu` and the latter has also appeared in an item song in Sivakasi`. Atlee has given both Vijay and Nayanthara one of their career bests in the form of Theri` and Raja Rani` and the trio coming together is sure to raise the expectations sky high. We`ll know more about Vijay 61` in a couple of weeks time.
