Director Suseenthiran was supposed to do a double hero film with Udayanidhi Stalin and Vishnu Vishal, but the project got dropped and he decided to make a new film with the latter in the lead role.

Pretty actress Sri Divya has been signed as the love interest of Vishnu in the new film which also has Parthiban in a pivotal role. Vishnu and Sri Divya showed great chemistry in their previous film Jeeva` also directed by Suseenthiran and the coming together of the trio has raised a lot of expectations in the industry circuit.
