Shrusti Dange who earned a sizeable fan following after her dimpled appearance in the Ilayaraja classic Putham Puthu Kaalai` song in Mega`. The young actress has had a good run in recent times with her films Dharma Durai` and Achamindri` making the right noises at the box office.

Srusti has signed on to play a lead role opposite Allu Sirish in the Mohanlal starrer “1971 – Beyond Borders” directed by Major Ravi. Srusti has replaced Nikki Galrani in the film based on the Indo-Bangladesh war and is simultaneously made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
