Kalidasan Jayaram is waiting for the perfect launch and he is all set to take the south India industry by storm. The talented youngster, who has acted in a lot many movies as a child artiste was recently called for a movie which is being directed by Pratap Pothen. The script is by Anjalai Menon.

However, his father, actor Jayaram stated that Kalidas does not have time to act in movies made by old filmmakers like Pratap Pothen. This led to an open duel, with Pratap Pothen lambasting both father and son. The slot then fell for Dulquer Salmaan, whose close association with Anjali Menon is well known.
