While his 'Bhagam Bhag' is still doing well at the theatres even 3 weeks after the release, director Priyadarshan has moved on to his next film 'Dhol'. But meanwhile there has been a surprise of the month for all his fans as one his movies has just got released this Friday and gone completely unnoticed at the box office.

Titled 'Friendship', which boasts of an all woman cast comprising of Tabu, Jyotika, Sharbani Mukerji, Ishita Arun, Mita Vashisht, Dipti Bhatnagar and Shweta Menon, the film has seen a selective release across theatres in Bombay Circuits, C.P. Berar and Nizam.

Originally made in Tamil as SNEGITHIYE [2000] and now dubbed as 'Friendship', the film is a suspense thriller. The film is truly different since it has no male characters - no hero, no father, no brother, not even a villain.

There are no romantic elements or love scenes in the film. To give the film a unique look, everyone from the police personnel to the college principal, hostel warden and professors are women.

The film has arrived with practically zilch publicity and is all set to make a quick exit from the theatres. The only question? Why was it ever released in such a manner if the outcome was known well in advance?
