Krishnaraj Rai, the father of former Miss World Title winner and actress Aishwarya Rai has been admitted to Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai. He has been undergoing treatment for more than fifteen days, but his condition deteriorated last night. He has since been shifted to ICU, as per the hospital authorities.

Aishwarya Rai has been stay put in the hospital to take care of her dear father.

Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan visited the hospital and inquired about the health status of and treatment given to Rai. Aishwarya's husband Abhishek Bachchan has reportedly spent more time with his wife in this tough hour.
