'Hudugaru' 100 Celebrations

The 79th production of Kannada film from the house of biggest empire of Dr Rajakumar - 'Hudugaru' is the 33rd film to celebrate the 100 days event. On the Independence Day August 15, Chowdaiah Memorial Hall was fully packed for the celebration.

The leading personality of Kannada cinema Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar made a brief presence after a long exile from any public functions and even the Regional Censor chief Nagaraj with his wife had come to the event with bizarre of guests to greet the winners of 'Hudugaru'.

The recorded visuals of Dr Rajakumar song on goddess Chamundeswari a classical song kick started the event and silver glasses and bouquet for majority of persons who worked for 'Hudugaru' and trophies for the main technicians were handed over with clips of ‘Hudugaru’ (a remake of Nadodigal Tamil film).

Actress Abhinaya had come down to receive the trophy with her mother from Chennai. This is her hat trick. She was seen in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada playing the same role.

Gururpasad who arrived at the later stage tried to create funny moments to cheer up the crowd that was sitting since 5 pm. He was partly successful. He made a brief interview of Radhika Pandit, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Shivarajakumar, Yogish, director Madesh but none of the questions were unique.

Raghavendra Rajakumar welcomed the gathering at the start of the event. Rockline Venkatesh, Munirathna Naidu, Ajay Rao, Anu Prabhakar, Sudharani, KCN Chandrasekhar, Jayanthi, Basanthkumar Patil, Vijayalakshmi Singh, Jai Jagdish, Ramesh Aravind, Haripriya, Soori, Ragini, Gurukiran, Tarun, SA Chinne Gowda, Bhagwan, SA Govindaraju were present on this occasion.

Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar honored the censor chief Nagaraj and his wife on this occasion. Grandchildren of Dr Rajakumar extended bouquet and mementos to the guests at this celebration event.
