Huma Qureshi had taken up the extra effort to learn Malayalam for her first Malayalam movie 'White'. A tutor had visited her on the sets in between shoots and taught her the language. What surprised the makers was the actress' quickness in grasping the language.

The movie's director Uday Ananthan said that he was quite surprised by Huma's skill and advised the actress to do more films in the South. The movie stars Mammootty in the lead role and has been shot mainly in London. The story revolves around the characters played by the duo and an unlikely love across age and place.
