Marketing innovations take a new dimension with every new movie and this time around Sajid Khan's 'Humshakals', Presented by Fox Star Studios and Produced by Pooja Entertainment & Films Ltd is setting a new benchmark. The makers of the movie have managed to rope in two of the biggest television networks to market their movie in a novel manner.
In an unprecedented move by any studio, last week we saw the movie tie up with Star network and create a roadblock with an edit of the trailer which played across all the channels simultaneously.
This week about, we hear the second song "Piya Ke Bazaar" which is just launched will be showcased across all the channels of Zee Network to give the glimpse to the audience and is touted to create a much bigger buzz. A peppy number and a vibrant video, the song has all the lead characters of the movie and is apparently very catchy and visually exciting. And being one of the oldest and biggest networks dominating the television industry, the success of this activity can be predicted even before the launch.
While we are liking these new marketing strategies, interestingly we are also liking the two songs that are being showcased so unusually.
Presented by Fox Star Studios and Produced by Pooja Entertainment & Films Ltd, Humshakals is directed by Sajid Khan and stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor along with Bipasha Basu, Tamannah and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. It is slated to release on the 20th of June 2014.
