Can beauty kill?
Can there be betrayal in love?
Can love turn out to be so obsessive that it threatens to destroy even the one whom you love?

All this and more is witnessed in Farrah Dibaa Sultan Ahmed's 'Husn - Love and Betrayal' that narrates a tale about a woman who is so obsessive about her love that she could go to any distance to catch hold of it.

Nisha [Parmeeta Katkar] is the woman in question who threatens to rip the world apart of Sanjay [Yuvaraj Parashar] and Trisha [Nethra Raghuraman] who are heads over heels in love with each other. Inseparable and completely loyal to each other, an incident in the lives of two love birds brings them to such a juncture that they are forced to take drastic measures. What is that incident?

In a night of passion, Sanjay takes a wrong step in the absence of Trisha that changes the course of his life's direction. He ends up getting up, close and personal with Nisha who now wants this relationship to continue into something substantial. While Sanjay tries his best to convince Nisha that it was nothing but a mistake and an event best forgotten, Nisha becomes highly possessive about him and now wants him at all costs, even if that meant hurting him!

While Sanjay continues to thwart her advances, she makes his life a living hell as she stalks him, tortures him, begs him, intimidates him - basically does everything that could keep him closer to her and eventually fall over in love with her. Her psychotic behavior becomes more apparent when it is disclosed that she has also committed a murder in the past!

Not able to get Sanjay's attention, now Nisha starts threatening Trisha and does all she can to have her out of her way, even if that meant eliminating her physically. She lets her intentions quiet clear when she kills Sanjay's pets and also his best friend Chintu [Saurabh]!

The message is loud and clear - either accept her or die!

Further twist in the tale comes with the arrival of a mysterious man Harsh [Sameer Dharmadhikari]. It turns out that he was Nisha's co-partner in the crime that she had committed in the past and was now after her to get his share of the booty.

With numerous complex situations threatening to turn Sanjay's life upside down, the pressure turns unbearable for him.

He takes a decision.

He would kill Nisha.

Even if that meant destroying his own life in the bargain! But he was no more worried about the final outcome.

What he was worried about was the current state of his mind that was in a nerve wrecking stage post Nisha's acts and Harsh's entry!

Will Sanjay succeed in his endeavor? Even if that happens, would he and Trisha ever reunite? Does Harsh get from Nisha what he was looking for?

Does 'Husn' really turn out to be a tale of Love and Betrayal?

Directed by Imtiaaz Khan, 'Husn-Love and Betrayal' has been ready for quite some time and is eyeing for a release later this month.
