The race for Pongal got bigger and better the moment Yennai Arindhaal` and I` announced their release for the biggest festival of Tamil Nadu. The trade sources and theatre owners are predicting that both the movies will not release on the same day as the makers of I` and Yennai Arindhaa` are looking to release the movie in maximum screens.

Insiders reveal that A.M. Ratnam has almost finalized January 8th because of his Thursday sentiment and Aascar Ravichandran will be releasing the movie a day prior to Pongal. Stay tuned to know more about the releases of two of the most anticipated movies of next year.
