Arjun Rampal is unhappy with references being made to him as a - goon. This is for his upcoming film - Satyagraha, the promos of which are on and (wrongly) indicating to quite a few out there that he is playing a local 'gunda’ of sorts.

"Well, 'goon' is a wrong word actually," says Arjun in a stern tone, "On the contrary, I am playing this guy who comes with strong political aspirations. He is clear that India is filled with corruption and he laughs about it. He isn't bothered about it, he takes it in his stride. However, when he seems something really wrong happening, he starts making different moves."

In the film he is making a good departure from the days when he played an uber cool cosmopolitan character.

"The character that I am playing is actually highly sensitive. He is also large hearted and is basically a peoples person. He is loved by those who know him. He visits the remotest villages where people know him by the first name. Later, when he sees an opportunity to make a difference to the society, he jumps in the fray. Of course there is a different facet to his personality as well. He is a short tempered guy and for him to be in a peaceful moment, it is a bit difficult to adjust," he details.

Well, come 30th August and we would know how well does Arjun play this adjusting game in this co-production of UTV Motion Pictures and Prakash Jha Productions which is led by a heavyweight starcast comprising of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai.
