Ramarajan announced his reentry in a big way, when the music of his forthcoming film ‘Medhai’ was released in Chennai recently. According to those who had attended the function, it was really a big event, with the actor’s ‘fans’ from all over Tamil Nadu attending it.

The music for ‘Medhai’ has been scored by Dheena and some big names in singing like K J Yesudas, S P Balasubramaniam, Karthik , Unni Menon, Harish Raghavendra, Chinmayi and Saindhavi have crooned the seven numbers in the album.

Says the actor, “I am acting in ‘Medhai’ after a gap of eight years. In this period, many asked me to do cameos and character roles. But I politely denied those offers as I always wanted to act in lead roles alone.”

“My role model is always MGR,” he says and adds: “after becoming a hero, the Makkal Thilakam never did cameos. I will emulate him and continue acting as protagonist. ‘Medhai’ has come out really well thanks to director N T G Saravanan and producers Kalaimagal Kalaikoodam.”
