The challenging star Darshan agrees that he has given flop films in his career and at the same time some big films have also come up in his career.

In a chat recently after facing the camera for his new film 'Viraat' Darshan disclosed that he is accepting films that are very clear in all respects. For the new directors and producers Darshan has decided not to give call sheets for various reasons. It has become a regular practice to hear the scripts but not very convincing ones are coming these days.

Darshan has given up the idea of coming out with a book on all villains of Kannada cinema. He is contemplating on something bigger than that. Waiting for the right time for the release of 'Sarathi' a big budget cinema, Darshan has high hopes on his historical film 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna'. He has 'Bulbul' and 'Chingari' getting ready.

The policy adopted by Darshan is to live in the image as of now with variations in the screenplay and presentation. He is now business tycoon ala Ambani or Tata type in ‘Viraat’.
