Lakshmi Rai is one of the favourite children of controversy. The actress is often in the news, for some reason or the other. And the buzz which made her popular throughout the country was the one that linked her with Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Though the actress maintained that the Indian cricket captain was just a friend of her and there was nothing beyond friendship bteween them, gossip factories dished out stories about their so called 'relationship'.
However, the big end to the buzz came when Dhoni entered wedlock with Sakshi Singh Rawat in 2010. Lakshmi Rai, who is now busy with 'Thaandavam', says, "I don't want to find myself in controversies again."
"When I meet Dhoni in public functions, we will move from the place after saying 'hello' to each other. Some people are keen about spreading bad news about me. I don't want to give an opportunity to them."
