Dhanshika, who played a 'daredevil role' in ‘Peranmai’, is now paired opposite Arun Vijay in ‘Maanja Velu’ and plays a prominent role in a film titled ‘Nil Kavani Sellathey’.

“Nil Kavani Sellathey is directed by Anand Chakravarthy, who produced ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ last year. The movie has a major scope for me to perform. I enjoy working in it”, she says.

On ‘Maanja Velu’, she says, “I play Anjali, a college student in the film. It is a bubbly role and I am part of not just romantic sequences but also stunt scenes. Director A Venkatesh has laced ‘Maanja Velu’ with right commercial elements. I am confident that it would become a blockbuster.”

“I want to do meaty roles and establish a place for myself in the industry. I don't mind glamour roles, if the script demands”, says the young actress.

On her debut film 'Peranmai', she says, “I attended a cultural show. Jananathan spotted me at the event and immediately urged me to do the role in ‘Peranmai’. It was too good an offer to resist and I decided to do it immediately. Though the movie has five heroines, all of us had equal footage.”
