'Script Should Be The Catalyst In Decisiomn making said My Father' said Ram Charan Tej, the scion of Mega Family as called in T-Town in the launch of audio of his upcoming mega project 'Toofan'.

The Venue was ‘Silpa Kala Vedika’, The event was ‘Toofan Audio Launch’ and the hero, ‘Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej’. The Telugu version of the magnum opus in Hindi and Telugu, a remake of the 1973 cult hit ‘Zanjeer’ that shot an insignificant struggling actor to an ‘Angry Young Man’ and Superstar of Bollywood in the years to come by.

Energy was in the air. The fans went crazy when the emcees came to them with the mike, camera and lights to capture their frenzy and the Mega fans, who were dying to watch their stars on screen for a while now, went berserk with excitement. They savored each and every moment of magic in the closed auditorium cheering and whistling for their hero.

Udaya Bhanu emceed the event, introduced the film as an esteemed project with a dream ensemble of cast and crew, targeting Bollywood and Tollywood markets jointly produced by Reliance entertainment, Prakash Mehra Productions, Flying Turtle and Rampage India.

Toofan, The First Film To Be Mixed In Dolby Atmos

‘Toofan’ has the distinction of being the first film in Telugu that would be engineered and mixed for Dolby Atmos, a truly new listening experience in movie theaters. Country Manager, Dolby Laboratories Pankaj Kedia said ‘Its one of its kind first in Hyderabad and Prasadz is the first theater in Hyderabad to have installed the system. Dolby Atmos is a major shift from traditional channel based surround sound. It provides a natural and lifelike audio experience in the theatre and literally immerses the audience with speakers even on the ceiling.

Reliance CEO Sanjeev Lamba who took the stage and joined the emcee in inviting, shaking hands and hosting the guests. The event was organized professionally, not differently though. The sound tracks were launched one by one by the eminent guests viz., Producers Danayya, BVSS Prasad, Bandla Ganesh, Allu Arvind, Dil Raju, director Vamsy Paidipalli etc, interlude by electrifying performances by singer Jaspreet Jazz, actor Mahi Gill and others. Guests also spoke about their association with the film, hero Ram Charan Tej and the Mega family. Dil Raju and Vamsy wished that the Magadheera magic would repeat. VV Vinayak said ‘I watched a part of the film and observed a new Charan and a fire in him…’

‘It’s Charan’s Pat On My Back That Inspired Me’: Chandra Bose

Chandra Bose, who wrote lyrics for all the songs said It’s the power of Charan’s pat on his back that inspired him and helped him deliver wonderful lyrics in quick time. ‘I wrote the lyrics for the hero’s movies Magadheera, Rachcha and Nayak. I wrote the song ‘Mumbai ka hero’ in just within a night’s time...' He rendered the song pallavis and enthralled the fans.

‘Toofan’ The First 100 Crore Project in Telugu: Allu Arvind

Allu Arvind launched the song ‘Vechchanaina Raatiri...' , the club song on Cherry and Mahi Gill that happens in villain’s den. The ace producer then declared ‘This will be the first Telugu film that will be released with the Hindi version of the same, capturing over a hundred Crores of Rupees opening market. Congratulations for the team especially the director Apporva, the hard work he’s put in’

Great Friends With Charan And Apoorva: Sri Hari

Real Star Sri Hari who played Sher Khan for the second time in combination with RCT came on stage and excited the audience rendering his lines from the film. ‘I thank Charan for calling me personally to Mumbai for the character. And more importantly, for introducing a great friend in the director Apporva Lakhiya and by the time the production finished, we both decided that I will feature in every film of his. I recall that I said on the same stage that Magadheera will run for a year and it did indeed. I am repeating now, Toofan will create tsunami. The courage Charan and Lakhiya showed in attempting this film will definitely reflect in the final product and will reverb the Telugu power in Mumbai’

Love You Ram: Mahi Gill

Mahi Gill performed the song ‘Vechchanaina Ratiri…’ and then expressed her excitement to visit Hyderabad and said she loved Telugu language and loved working in the film. Fans went berserk when she said ‘I love Ram...'. Then the moment of audio launch, the stage was occupied by a herd of representatives from the three production companies, as director Lakhia rightly said ‘Looked bigger than the film’s entire cast’. Reliance team CEO Sanjeev Lamba, COO Mahesh Ramnath, CFO Sibashish Sarkar, Sreedhar, Regional Manager, Production, Regional Manager Distribution Sanjay Sambrani, Prakash Mehra Productions Puneet Prakash Mehra, Flying Turtle Saketh Sahani, Anil V Kumar and Shabbir Ahluwalia, CoProducers Rampage films Ram Mirchandani, Music directors team Meet Bros Harmeet and Anjan Bhattacharyaji, Chirantan Bhatt, lyricist Chandra Bose etc.

The CD was launched by Venkatesh and Charan and copies were distributed to the guests on stage.

Charan Is At Ease Being Vijay Khanna: Venkatesh

Venky said ‘Cherry made his mark with his entry film Chirutha and then Nayak was also a big hit. Now, he is playing the iconic character Vijay Khanna in the film Toofan and after watching the trailers and behind the scenes footage, I am doubly sure that this film will be a great success even in Hindi. Apoorva looks to have handled the project with ease.
