G Nageshwar Reddy, the director of Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam has said that the reason why they are releasing the film after SGS and before Sarrainodu is that they are very confident about the project. "SGS and Sarrainodu are mass entertainers. On the other hand, our film is a family entertainer," he says.

He wanted to do the film with Venkatesh at first, but when he learnt that Mohan Babu had bought the remake rights, he gave up the idea. "I had gone to BVSN Prasad to narrate the story. Later, I went to Venkatesh. But when I came to know about Mohan Babu garu having bought the rights, I didn't go to anyone. We first thought of making the film with Vishnu alone. When Raja Ravindra made Raj Tarun see the original, he evinced interest in our project," he says.

Ask him why he didn't think of casting Manoj in place of Raj Tarun, Nageshwar Reddy says, "This is the story of two friends, not two brothers. The lies spoken by these two friends lands their family members in a soup. Rajendra Prasad plays Vishnu's father. Vishnu and Raj Tarun are out to confuse him. There is a message for those who want to stay separate after marriage," the director adds.

As someone who has made only a handful of films despite being in the industry for about 15 years, GNR says that he had got the opportunity to work with Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Ravi Teja in the past, he couldn't seize the opportunity.

Post ERAR, Nagehswar Reddy has Aatadukundam Raa releasing. It has Sushanth playing the lead role.
