Film director and Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam supremo Seeman said on Tuesday that he would legally face the allegations leveled against him by actress Vijayalakshmi, who accused him saying he cheated her after maintaining a relationship.

Talking to journalists after calling on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat in Chennai, he said that Vijayalakshmi had only lodged a complaint against him and had not filed a case.

"I will face her allegations legally," the director said, adding: "Let her file a case against me first." He expressed happiness over the Tamil National Alliance sweeping the recently concluded polls in Northern Sri Lanka.

When asked why he met the Chief Minister, Seeman said he and other leaders had called on Jayalalithaa to thank her for passing a resolution in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, urging the Centre to enforce economic sanctions against the island nation.
